They later reached Royal Estate, the most luxurious place in Kingwood.
Celeste was the heiress to the Royal Estate.
But after marrying Nathaniel, she never went back home.
While working for him devotedly, she also tried her best to play her part- be a good wife.

With her sunglasses on, she glanced at the bright sun with at
smile.
For a whole month, she’d been stuck inside her room without
any contact with the world outside.
Now, she was wearing a suit in red. Her lips were adorned with red lipstick and she was beaming.
Celeste got into the luxury car parked on the roadside and drove to the Rowe Group to pack her things.
*At the gate of Rowe Group building*
The moment Celeste opened the car door, she met Nathaniel,
who was about to go out.
Nathaniel instantly stopped his steps once he saw her.
For a while month, he’d been searching for her. Finally, she
showed up.
Nathaniel stared at Celeste coldly and glanced at the fancy
car behind her.
It was worth at least a million dollars.
When their eyes met, his sharp gaze fell on and off on her
shoulder.

Disdain was written all over his face as he sneered,
“You’re lucky, Ms. Hartley, still breathing after getting shot.”
Celeste’s heart jolted with pain.

Her broken heart didn’t feel numb. Instead, it hurt even more.
“Yeah, I’m still alive. Sorry to disappoint you. I’ll leave right away after packing my stuff,” She responded.
Nathaniel’s gaze got colder and more cruel when he noticed. the indifference in her eyes.
He snapped, “Celeste, no wonder you gave up everything when you got divorced. You’ve already found a new boyfriend,
huh? Shame on you!”
Despite the grief, Celeste confronted him, who was wearing a
wicked smile.
“Mr. Rowe, you cheated on me. Don’t you judge me like that.”
With that, she walked past the two and strode towards the Rowe Group building.

He strode over to her and asked, “Did you block my number? Where have you been last month?”
He couldn’t reach her after the divorce.
So, Nathaniel had his assistant check her whereabouts. But in
the end, their efforts were in vain.
Celeste left with nothing, so she was supposed to be broke.
Nathaniel had no idea how she managed to get by.
A sarcastic smile played on her lips as she gazed at him coldly.
“You wanna know where I’ve been? I went to celebrate my
divorce. Obviously!”
“Being single again is a rare treat. Shouldn’t I hit the club and party with a gigolo with perfect obs?”
Nathaniel’s expression darkened instantly.
“If you need money, I can give it to you. I won’t let you disgrace yourself like that!” He growled.
Celeste sneered. “Seriously? Nathaniel, I once married you. That’s a TRUE disgrace!”

He pulled Celeste closer and kissed her fiercely.

The kiss was full of punishment, anger, and the desire he had kept hidden for so long.
“Ugh…” Celeste gasped, her eyes wide as she struggled desperately.
But even though she had regained some strength, she was no match for Nathaniel.
All she could do was pound on his shoulders.
“Get… your hands… off me…”
“Nate!”
Madelynn’s voice suddenly cut through the air.
Only then did Nathaniel release Celeste.
“Smack-”
The next second, Celeste slapped Nathaniel hard.
