Briar saw right through her little scheme. She knew manners were a necessity in front of men, but not for her.
“The evidence is right in front of you. If you can’t tell what’s real and what’s fake, I’d say the company’s going under in three days!” Briar sneered with biting sarcasm.
“The Rowe Group going bankrupt? I highly doubt it.”
Madelynn clung to Nathaniel’s arm, looking at Celeste with a mixture of curiosity and disdain. She thought, “How does Celeste manage to get proof to clear her name?
But it doesn’t matter anymore. I’ve already had someone leak the news about Celeste stealing the company’s new product
online. I must ruin Celeste’s life.
Some secrets must never be uncovered by Celeste.
Nathaniel is mine.”
Celeste cast a cold, indifferent glance at Nathaniel and asked,
“Mr. Rowe, can you clear my name now?”
Before Nathniel could respond, Briar turned her fiery gaze

on him. “Mr. Rowe, you’ve gone too far. You even spread this thing online that our boss never did. If you’re going to play dirty, don’t expect us to hold back”
Nathaniel furrowed his brow, thinking, “Who leaked it online? And so quickly?”
Madelynn’s eyes glinted with malice.
Celeste picked up her phone to see the hashtag: [#Celeste Steals New Product of the Rowe Group#]
There were scathing comments tearing her apart,
Her eyes turned icy. She thought, “I’ve already left, Nathaniel
still wouldn’t let me off the hook.
Her heart ached so badly it felt like she couldn’t breathe.
“Nathaniel, you really want to go all the way, don’t you?” She forced a bitter smile and thought, “What did I do wrong? Even after the divorce, he still won’t let up.”
Nathaniel stared at her lifeless eyes. His frustration mounted. to the point where he felt a murderous rage.
She had shut him out, and he knew her too well.
Yet, thinking of her betrayal made his heart turn to stone.

Griffin’s death had left a wound that made it impossible for
him to forgive her.
“Briar, get what Candy did online. If the Rowe Group is framing me, then I’ll take them down with me.”
Celeste turned and walked away.
Briar sent the video to Landry to handle.
Turning to Nathaniel, Briar taunted him with a mocking smile, “Mr. Rowe, you’re so stupid. I’m seriously questioning how your company managed to grow so much with your level of
‘brilliance“”
Briar thought, “There must be boss‘ contributions.”
Nathaniel’s back stiffened. His grip tightened, and his eyes were filled with a destructive fury.
Briar laughed coldly, then followed Celeste.
Nathaniel’s gaze remained on Candy with a dangerous edge. “Candy, the video is real. Go to the police.”
Candy was horrified but, thinking of her family, whispered to
Nathaniel, “Sorry, President Rowe.”

Then she went to turn herself in.
Madelynn’s smile faded.
She thought, “Celeste just ruined everything. What do I do

If Nathaniel investigates, he’ll find out about us.”
She looked at Nathaniel with concern. “Nathaniel, without the new product, what will happen to your company? This was a plan you’ve been working on for months.”
A knowing smile appeared on Nathaniel’s face, filled with an intangible menace.
Nathaniel’s trademark arrogance was matched only by his undeniable competence. “My new product isn’t so easily obtained. Whoever’s behind this will pay the price.”
Madelynn felt a chill run through her.
Nathaniel’s eyes followed Celeste’s retreating figure. She was all ice and storm, impossible to approach.
As Celeste was about to get into her car, Madelynn suddenly appeared, blocking her way.
